چکیده
Abstract The human health, aquatic life and environment are greatly affected by the existence of industrial waste in water especially textile dye. Advanced oxidation processes (AOPs) considered more effective removing toxic pollutants from comparison with traditional biological, physical chemical processes. later have limitations high energy requirement, cost production secondary during treatment process. AOPs received significant attentions to eliminate recalcitrant dyes aqueous owing highly reactive hydroxyl radicals produced via light irradiation. This study focused on using response surface methodology (RSM) evaluate its prediction optimizing capability deployment obstinate water. data were obtained existing literature related decomposition dye [reactive red (RR-147)] under UV illumination presence hydrogen peroxide (H 2 O ) photocatalyst, i.e., titanium dioxide (TiO ). influence different process parameters like concentration, pH solution, H contents, time photocatalyst studied removal percentage. input for efficient optimized developed RSM models. Four scenarios created see effect selected while keeping remaining maintained at fixed values. predicted results depicted that percentage was mainly tested variables, as well their synergistic effects which observed compliant experimental results. Performance analysis models showed a coefficient determination value significantly higher than R = 0.99), thus guaranteed satisfactory equations second-order regression 50 ppm 0.9 ml, 3.4, TiO 0.6 g irradiation 60 min, maximum breakdown 92% observed. degradation RR-147 is be effectively accomplished UV/H /TiO system.

Electrochemical Degradation of Reactive Blue 19 Dye in Textile Wastewater
Textile wastewater is notoriously known to contain strong colour, a highly fluctuating pH and significant COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand) values. Because of these characteristics, treatment of these effluents has been rather difficult. Traditional methods for dealing with textile wastewater consist of various combinations of biological, physical and chemical methods. Because of the large variabili...
متن کاملDecolorization of Ionic Dyes from Synthesized Textile Wastewater by Nanofiltration Using Response Surface Methodology
Decolorization of aqueous solutions containing ionic dyes (Reactive Blue 19 and Acid Black 172) by a TFC commercial polyamide nanofilter (NF) in a spiral wound configuration was studied. The effect of operating parameters including feed concentration (60-180 mg/l), pressure (0.5-1.1 MPa) and pH (6-10) on dye removal efficiency was evaluated. The response surface method (RSM) was utilized for th...
